TREASURE VALLEY WOMEN IN TECH
Meet Morgan
Morgan is a biomedical engineer and recent PhD graduate from Boise State University whose post-doctoral work lives at the intersection of technology, medicine, and human impact. Her research has focused on bioelectronics, neural interfaces, and designing custom devices for neural stimulation and muscle recording, all with the goal of creating technologies that can improve health and quality of life. She is especially drawn to work that combines technical problem-solving with real-world purpose.
Morgan’s path in technology has combined research, teaching, and applied engineering across multiple institutions, including Boise State University, the University of Kansas, and Walla Walla University, building a foundation in technical innovation, problem-solving, and real-world device development. Through those experiences, she has developed a deep appreciation for both the technical and human sides of innovation.
When not conducting research, Morgan loves being outside enjoying nature with her husband and friends through hiking, biking, camping, hot springs, river tubing, gardening, or even mowing. She has also had the same cat since 2013, who keeps life interesting with equal parts attitude and charm.
Morgan joined Treasure Valley Women in Technology because she believes strong communities help create strong leaders. Her own path taught her the importance of mentorship and having people in your corner who understand both the opportunities and challenges of working in technical fields. She believes Treasure Valley Women in Technology plays a vital role in bringing women together to build connections, strengthen confidence, and create more opportunities for
women across the region.
