Cara Van Sant

Cara Van Sant joined Boise State University's Venture College as the Marketing and Communications Manager in 2020. Since then she has taken on the role of Director, and is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs throughout their startup journeys. Cara’s prior experience includes: supporting an early stage startup, coordinating a large capital campaign, working for a large tech firm, and coaching cross-country running.

Cara graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Affairs, and a Business minor.

 

Cara is thrilled to join Treasure Valley Women in Tech as a Board Member, driven by her passion for fostering meaningful connections. She appreciates the guidance and support from the women who have played an instrumental role in her professional journey, and recognizes that networking is a vital component of professional growth and development. Cara is enthusiastic about creating opportunities for other women to build strong, supportive networks. She looks forward to leveraging her experience and insights to support and uplift women in the tech community, helping them achieve their goals and advance their careers. Cara is committed to giving back to the community that has significantly shaped her path, ensuring that other women have access to the same valuable resources and mentorship that have been key to her professional journey.
